Onboard Fueling Systems
Chart LNG Fueling pioneered the design of LNG vehicle tanks and fueling stations over a decade ago — utilizing our extensive knowledge and experience in fabricating vacuum-insulated storage vessels for cryogenic liquid gases such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide and argon. We are actively involved with DOT and NFPA 57. We have designed and built more than 280 models and sizes of LNG vehicle tanks for a variety of applications, including trucks, cars, buses, and even trains. Chart LNG Fueling is the dominant LNG vehicle tank provider because our tanks are safe, simple and reliable.

Liquefiers
Widespread availability of LNG depends on new small-scale liquefiers, and an expanded channel of distribution for new and existing LNG supply. Chart LNG Fueling supplies a variety of liquefiers, bulk storage and distribution equipment to support the rapid growth of the LNG industry.

  • Traditional large liquefiers using mixed refrigerants or engineered to order for facilities up to 100,000 gallons per day
  • Small-scale liquefiers for use at stranded gas wells, pipeline gas locations, some landfills, and other bio sources of methane
  • Bulk storage, pumps, piping, and dispensing systems for small or large on-site liquefiers
  • Clean-up technologies for low-quality methane
